Our Story
Works are well underway with the renovation of the Double Header.
This world renowned classic is currently being renovated by Capt. Les Gallagher and Paul Scopinich in Horta. The extensive renovation includes a full, clean and low emissions re-power with FPT- Fiat Powertrain Technologies motors (sponsor), new TwinDisc gears and new couplings, shafts and props. All new electronics in 2023 from Raymarine (sponsor) and a full renovation of exterior and interior furnishings.
The Double Header is custom rigged for giant blue marlin with a Murray Bros chair and one piece triple spreader riggers by Rupp (sponsor). All new tackle for 2023 including Tiagras and customs rods by Dru (sponsor).
The Double Header will be Captained by Les Gallagher fishing out of Horta during August and September of 2023 and be fully available for charter in 2024.
