Hatteras 36’ - Horta
The Blue Skye is a Hatteras 36' Mk 1 powered with twin 350HP Caterpillar 3116 (MUI) motors and TwinDisc gears.
Another classic and timeless example of sport fishing yacht design by the legendary designer

Blue Skye arrived in Horta in December of 2024 and was renovated for the 2025 season.

specialised in "bait and switch" fishing using live baits for giant Blue Marlin

Blue Skye's 2025 renovations include the installation new props, shafts and couplings,
new exterior paint, new flybridge hardtop, new flybridge console, new engine controls,
new softs, new headliners, new interior lighting
and all new electronics by Raymarine® and Garmin®
